Kindergarten registration draws near, stories of middle schools past, SASEE awards

Kindergarten registration

Kindergarten Counts, an information night, will be hosted at each elementary school Wednesday Jan. 22, 2020 from 6-7 p.m. Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to meet the principal, kindergarten teachers and other parents at the event.

Register and attend Kindergarten Counts at your student's resident elementary school. Visit losdschools.org to verify.

Registration for kindergarteners, and all students who are new to Lake Oswego School District, will open online on Wednesday Jan. 22 at losdschools.org.

LOSD welcomes kindergarteners who will be five years old by Sept. 1 for the 2020-2021 school year.

Share your middle school stories

Help Lakeridge Middle School Theatre Arts with a salute to the lives impacted by 4700 Jean Road. They are looking for real stories and memories from people who were or are students, staff, parents of students of the school. All stories, serious and funny, are welcome — so long as they are middle school appropriate. If your story is selected, the creative writing class will dramatize it for the Theatre arts department to produce as a spring play in 2020. Not all submissions will be selected, but the hope is that this can be part of a fitting celebration of this building's impact on our community from 1962 to 2020.

Please respond with your story and share this Google Form: https://forms.gle/ZnbTdJTVjMnBhDRr5
