The district will provide meals to anyone age 1-18 regardless of enrollment

The Lake Oswego School District announced Wednesday, Sept. 2, it will be expanding its meal service program for the remainder of the 2020 calendar year. New flexibility from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) allows the district to provide free meals to all children ages 1-18, even if the child is not enrolled in the district.

The district said signup isn't mandatory but filling out the quick query form would help the food service staff plan ahead.

The free Grab and Go meal service begins Tuesday, Sept.8.

Starting Monday, Sept. 14, breakfast and lunch can be picked up on Mondays and Wednesdays at the following locations:

Lake Grove Elementary, 11 a.m. to noon.

River Grove Elementary, 11 a.m. to noon.

Lake Oswego High School, 11:45 a.m. to noon.

Lakeridge High School, 11:45 a.m. to noon.

The district asks that you get your meals from the school closest to you. Face coverings are required at pickup.
