To accommodate the upcoming holiday, the Lake Oswego School District is changing the schedule this week for free meals. On Thursday, Nov. 19, students will receive seven days of breakfast and lunch meals. Grab-and-go pickup is canceled for Monday, Nov. 23, and Thursday, Nov. 26, while students are on Thanksgiving break. The Lake Oswego School District pool will close Wednesday, Nov. 18, for the statewide two-week freeze to limit the spread of COVID-19. The last day to swim in the LOSD pool is Tuesday, Nov. 17. If permitted, the pool will reopen Dec. 3.

Foundation hosts virtual 'new family coffees'

The Lake Oswego Schools Foundation continues its annual tradition of hosting new families for coffee, but this year it's virtual.

Parents and guardians new to the district are invited to join other new families, their principal and school foundation board representatives for coffees hosted by each school.
