Service Above Self award nominees sought

The Rotary Club of Lake Oswego will present the annual Service Above Self: Educational Excellence (SASEE) awards early next year, which means nominations are now open.

The awards are given to students, educators and community members who stand out in their support and service of education in Lake Oswego schools.

Recipients receive "pay-it-forward" awards. Students and educators receive a $1,000 prize, which they must donate to a charity, school or nonprofit of their choice. Community recipients receive a $3,000 scholarship in their name that will go to a graduating high school senior in Lake Oswego.

Visit www.rotarysasee.org to nominate someone you know.
