Sign up for summer specials

Lake Oswego School District is offering in-person summer enrichment classes July 5 through August 6. Interested parties can sign up on the Community School website. The Summer Enrichment Grant from the Oregon Department of Education allows LOSD to offer these enrichment classes for free or nearly free.

Lake Grove Swim Park opens June 18

Lake Grove Swim Park will open for its summer season June 18 with limited amenities.

The park, operated by LOSD, will include amenities such as restroom facilities, lifeguards and a snack shack.

Swim tests are required for all swimmers.

Patrons need to bring their own equipment for ping pong, volleyball, tetherball and basketball. No swim lessons will be offered this season as the kiddie pool is under repair.

Grab-and-go meals available

LOSD will provide grab-and-go meals throughout the summer starting June 21. Seven days of breakfast and lunch meals are distributed every Monday at Lake Oswego Middle School from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. All children ages 1-18 qualify for free grab-and-go meals, regardless of district enrollment. Because of the July 4 holiday, meals that week will be distributed Tuesday, July 6.

Summer meal distribution ends Aug. 23.
