Every Wednesday, we'll whet your police log appetite with the week's best entries.

The Lake Oswego police log is, shall we say, rather popular. We even made a book out of it a few years ago, and people still come into the office in search of a copy.

So with that in mind, we present the Bite-Sized Blotter — a Wednesday sneak peek at the week's calls before the whole log posts Thursday:

8/10 6:02 p.m. A caller said their adult daughter was causing problems and refusing to leave her room.

8/12 11:26 a.m. A man with a microphone was "blasting his voice and music" and "singing in a bothersome manner" near the 200 block of 1st Street.

8/13 9:21 a.m. A caller asked to speak to an officer's supervisor.

8/13 12:07 p.m. People were yelling at each other about a misplaced wallet.

8/15 8:53 a.m. A man said his rental car may have been stolen in California.
