Every Wednesday, we'll whet your police log appetite with the week's best entries.

The Lake Oswego police log is, shall we say, rather popular. We even made a book out of it a few years ago, and people still come into the office in search of a copy.

So with that in mind, we present the Bite-Sized Blotter — a Wednesday sneak peek at the week's calls before the whole log posts Thursday:

8/15 9:25 a.m. A caller said their neighbor's dog pooped in her driveway almost every day.

8/15 3:34 p.m. A caller was concerned that their apartment manager was using dangerous chemicals to clean an attic.

8/16 6:45 p.m. A caller said they were in Japan and saw someone entering their home on a video camera. It was a neighbor who thought his cat was in the garage.

8/20 10:39 p.m. A truck full of girls were screaming and dancing near the 1200 block of Overlook Drive.

8/20 11:52 p.m. A caller said a neighbor's dog had been barking "for years" near the 1500 block of Laburnum Way.
