3/10/15 10:16 a.m. A boathouse was burglarized by a thief who took a bottle of wine from the refrigerator. Fortunately, the thief was caught in the act in photos taken by the house’s security system.

3/11/15 10:44 a.m. A package valued at $120.43 was stolen off a porch on Overlook Drive.

3/11/15 2:30 p.m. After a stepdaughter moved back home, she allegedly stole $1,000 worth of clothing and toiletries.

3/12/15 12:50 p.m. A woman suspects that her parents’ caretaker, who was terminated, may have robbed them of cash, credit cards, Social Security cards and checks.

3/13/15 12:05 a.m. Walmart Neighborhood Market was hit by a beer thief on Jean Way. The 34-year-old suspect in the case was cited for theft and released.

3/15/15 8:51 a.m. A 32-year-old woman was picked up on A Avenue and charged with theft.

3/9/15 12:42 a.m. Police found a stolen red Honda Civic and contacted the happy owner. While locating the vehicle, officers came into contact with a 34-year-old woman with a Multnomah County warrant out for her arrest on charges of possession of a controlled substance.

3/9/15 9:58 a.m. A man took a video of a neighbor cutting a branch from his tree because its flowers were hitting the neighbor’s car. Charges may be sought.

3/9/15 11:32 a.m. A runaway son has returned home, so his mother has told police they can stop looking for him.

3/10/15 7:59 a.m. An extra-wide rig is taking up both lanes on Goodall Road and Knaus Road, and no flagger is on duty. Tempers flared when a construction worker started swearing at the woman who reported the situation.

3/10/15 12:14 p.m. A woman called police to report that her alarm system was going off, the TV was on downstairs, and her husband and kids were nowhere to be found. Also, she said, her dog was acting odd.

3/10/15 12:22 p.m. A 96-year-old dementia patient was standing in the middle of a street and yelling.

3/10/15 1:11 p.m. A landscape company is leaving fliers at homes on Larch Street despite signs that say “No Soliciting.” The owner of the company promised that the solicitation would stop and that he did not want to get into trouble.

3/10/15 1:48 p.m. An inattentive flagger failed to let a driver pass for five minutes on Boones Ferry Road.

3/10/15 2:14 p.m. An intoxicated woman walked into a restaurant and placed an order.

3/10/15 2:18 p.m. A caller started out offering a free trip to Jamaica but ended up threatening to kill a man and his daughter.

3/10/15 2:30 p.m. A staff member at a youth facility wants to press charges against youths ages 13 and 16 for assault and sexual assault over the past two weeks. The staff member reporting the alleged assaults said there had been eight incidents over the past seven weeks.

3/10/15 4:50 p.m. A driver didn’t take it well when a woman driver didn’t let him merge where the lane narrowed. He swore and honked his horn at her, and drove into the emergency lane in order to pass cars.

3/11/15 11:22 a.m. A man who appeared to be on drugs was found passed out in some bushes.

3/11/15 3:09 p.m. An employee with a history of alcoholic indulgence has not shown up for work or answered his phone or door. However, an officer found that he was not suicidal.

3/11/15 4:04 p.m. An 18-year-old daughter attempted suicide by drinking a large amount of rum and taking a large amount of medication.

3/11/15 5:36 p.m. A woman threatening to harm herself was found to not be suicidal, but she requested to be taken to a hospital because of head and neck pain.

3/11/15 8:05 p.m. A 19-year-old sister having mental health problems started throwing things around the house and then walked out. She was voluntarily transported by AMR for treatment.

3/12/15 1 p.m. Assistance was sought to rescue a cat stuck in a pipe on Laurel Street. It took some effort to remove large heavy steel grates to reach the kitty, but rescuers managed to free the very wet and scared tabby and reunite him with his happy family.

3/12/15 3:30 p.m. Three dogs running loose are scaring children on Rainbow Drive.

3/12/15 4:31 p.m. A wife became sick from an overdose and was transported to Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center.

3/12/15 5:14 p.m. A man has established a pattern of pulling into the parking lot at Olive Garden, drinking beer and urinating. An encounter with a police officer seems imminent.

3/13/15 8:31 a.m. A 5-year-old child was sitting in the lobby of a hotel for 20 minutes. The youngster’s parents couldn’t be found until police arrived and conducted a search.

3/13/15 9:26 a.m. A woman was walking in and out of traffic on Boones Ferry Road and Lakewood Street. She was taken by ambulance to receive help.

3/13/15 9:26 a.m. A father dropped off his child for school, then later realized there was no school that day.
