TREATCan I use my cellphone on my bicycle?

In short, no. By law, a bicycle is a vehicle. When riding your bike on the road, you have the same restrictions, duties and rights as other motor vehicles (ORS 814.400). This includes not being able to text, talk or otherwise use your cellphone in an unlawful manner.

Questions or clarification about bicycle rules? Give us a call anytime 503-635-0238.
