5/9/18 3:10 p.m. Jeff Dylan Beck, 30, was lodged at Multnomah County Jail on a Lake Oswego warrent for failure to appear on a charge of driving while suspended.

5/11/18 11:16 a.m. Kathleen Jean Ann Guerrero, 43, was lodged at Clackamas County Jail on a Lake Oswego warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.


5/10/18 8:39 a.m. A Dodge Caravan was stolen overnight on Juarez Street. The owner told police he had recently lost his car keys.

5/11/18 1:56 p.m. A black BMW X3 was reported stolen from a parking lot on Boones Ferry Road. The SUV's owner told police she walked the entire lot and found similar vehicles, but none of them were hers.


5/9/18 8:15 a.m. Thieves broke the back window of a car parked near Boones Ferry Road and Red Cedar Way and stole a purse and computer.

5/9/18 2:17 p.m. A wallet was stolen from a car parked on South State Street. No damage to the vehicle was reported.

5/9/18 4:46 p.m. A purse was taken from an SUV at the dog park on Stafford Road by thieves who broke a window to gain access.

5/10/18 12:07 p.m. An apparel company sent $461 to someone by mistake and the recipient has yet to return the money.

5/10/18 3:05 p.m. A package was stolen from a porch on Fourth Street.

5/11/18 12:32 p.m. A 21-speed Schwinn Chute mountain bike worth $350 was taken from an open garage on River Run Drive.

5/1218 8:59 p.m. A man in his late 20s allegedly walked out of the downtown Safeway store without paying for a case of Elysian beer.

5/13/18 7:56 p.m. A musician who stores his band equipment at a home on West Sunset Drive told police that cymbals and stands are missing. He asked around, he said, but no one knows who took them.

5/14/18 8:27 a.m. Thieves rummaged through an unlocked BMW 535 on Iron Mountain Boulevard overnight, but nothing of consequence was taken.


5/10/18 12:11 p.m. A man told police that his wife was the victim of a widely reported phone scam in which callers claiming to be AppleCare representatives demand payment in iTunes gift cards. The amount of loss was not released.

5/11/18 2:03 p.m. A Lake Oswego man told police that a check for $18,500 had been stolen earlier in the week and deposited into an account in New York.

5/12/18 10:40 a.m. Scammers claiming to be from the U.S. Marshal's Office convinced a Lake Oswego man that the only way to avoid arrest was to pay a fine with gift cards. He did — to the tune of $3,000.

5/14/18 8:49 a.m. A Lake Oswego resident rented a house in Bend through a Craigslist ad, only to discover that the address he was given was a vacant lot. The online ad disappeared shortly after he paid $751 through Paypal, he said.


5/4/18 9:13 p.m. A group of teenagers were reportedly ringing doorbells on Glen Eagles Road and running off. At least one homeowner was not amused by the hooligans' prank and called police.

5/4/18 10:36 p.m. A man with an "interesting hairstyle" asked a woman for a ride on Church Street but didn't know where he wanted to go, leading the driver to believe that the man might be high on drugs.

5/5/18 9:42 a.m. Five dead possums in a yard on Rosewood Street appeared to have been decapitated, a caller told police.

5/5/18 10:08 a.m. Large cartons and boxes fell out of a red Jeep near Fourth Street and A Avenue. A Good Samaratin helped the driver move everything to the side of the road, but she still needed help getting the stuff back into her trunk.

5/5/18 12:36 p.m. A homeowner on Ridgeway Road told police that a raccoon was pacing back and forth between yards, looking "out of it" and drooling from its mouth. It could be rabid and might attack someone, the caller told police.

5/6/18 6:54 p.m. A man who looked like Santa Claus was spotted smoking pot on a bench at Second Street and B Avenue. Santa was reportedly wearing a light-colored jacket and jeans, though, and not his trademark red suit.

5/7/18 7:03 a.m. Was someone trying to steal gas from cars in a parking lot on Parkview Drive? That's what a nearby resident concluded when he spotted at least four vehicles with their fuel doors open. A leasing agent confirmed those suspicions later in the day when she found gas cans and hoses that might have been used in the heist.

5/7/18 1:18 p.m. A frustrated resident on Quarry Road offered to let police use his driveway as a staging point if it would help stop drivers from constantly speeding past his house. The final straw, he said, was the guy who had just driven by at 50 mph, honking his horn and waving his middle finger.

5/7/18 1:43 p.m. The driver of a Ford SUV had a handicapped parking placard hanging in his vehicle, a caller told police, but he didn't look disabled and shouldn't be using the designated spots in a parking lot on Boones Ferry Road.

5/7/18 2:01 p.m. Someone dumped a large pile of dry wood and other debris near the railroad tracks that cross Berwick Road between Westward Ho Road and North Shore Boulevard, creating an unsightly mess and a possible fire hazard.

5/8/18 2:19 p.m. A man told police he thinks someone hit his car in Prineville, causing $1,400 in damage. Repairs are now underway.

5/8/18 3:34 p.m. A landlord asked police to accompany him to a house he owns because the renter reportedly has made a series a threats, including one reminder that she has a concealed weapons permit and may in fact be carrying.
