Three robbed at gunpoint in Lake Oswego restaurant
Lake Oswego Police responded to a report of armed robbery early Sunday morning at Stanford's Restaurant.
Around 4:20 a.m., one of the cleaning crew employees at the restaurant was getting something from her car when an armed man came out of the bushes wearing a mask and gloves, according to police. He was joined by two other masked men.
They ordered the employee back inside at gunpoint and gathered the other two workers. They forced the three employees into a closet-like storage room and locked them inside, according to Lake Oswego Police Lieutenant Darryl Wrisley.
After the armed men removed a safe from an office, along with other items including some alcohol, they left the building. The employees were able to free themselves and call 911.
There were no reported injuries during the robbery, police said. The suspects, all three of whom remained at large as of Monday morning, were males in their 30s and at least one is believed to be white. LOPD is asking anyone with any information to call 503-635-0238.
"We're also checking nearby surveillance cameras from other businesses in the area," Wrisley said.
