Hop on over to Easter events
As Easter approaches, don't miss your chance to hop on over to several family-friendly events this weekend.
On Saturday, April 20, the annual Hop at the Hunt Easter Egg Hunt and festivities will take place starting at 11 a.m. at Lake Oswego Hunt, 2725 Iron Mountain Boulevard. More than 15,000 Easter eggs will be hidden in the fields of the equestrian center, and children will be divided into four age groups; all ages are welcome.
Members of the Lake Oswego Police and Fire departments will be on hand to meet families, and you can have your family's photo taken with Hop the Bunny and Otis the Pony. One lucky child will bring home a giant stuffed bunny as the grand prize of the hunt.
The event is free though donations are gratefully accepted. Donations will cover expenses and then go to support Lake Oswego Hunt and Hope Sparrow Services.
Finally, the Mobility Impaired Golf Association will host a special Easter Egg Hunt at noon Sunday, April 21 at the Lake Oswego Public Golf Course, 17525 Stafford Road, Lake Oswego. The event includes Easter desserts and beverages, a visit from the Easter Bunny, a tour of a Lake Oswego Fire Department firetruck and of course golf instruction on the driving range and putting green.
