Jonathan Crowley, 30, and Danielle Brown, 42, were both cited for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle

Lake Oswego Police announced Thursday that two people were arrested May 3 after being seen entering parked cars.

Jonathan Crowley, 30, and Danielle Brown, 42, were both cited for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. Crowley, who also had outstanding felony warrants according to police, was lodged at Clackamas County Jail while Brown was transported to Meridian Park Hospital after telling officers she swallowed heroin.

The arrests came after a citizen reported seeing a man trying to enter several parked cars near Kingsgate Road and Melrose Street. The man actually did get into one car but nothing seemed to be taken, police said. The witness said the man was with a woman who was driving a gold '90s SUV.

An officer eventually located the SUV and made the arrests after finding that Crowley matched the witness's description and that he had warrants for his arrest.

In recent weeks, police have urged caution amid a spate of car break-ins and stolen vehicles in the area.
