Block party included games for the kids, information on how the project has improved the street's stormwater capabilities for adults

PMG PHOTOS: SAM STITES - Lake Oswego Public Library Volunteers blew bubbles for the small children to chase the D Avenue Block Party hosted by the City of Lake Oswego.Residents of D Avenue and the surrounding area gathered in front of the library last Wednesday, May 22, to celebrate the D Avenue Improvement Project's completion with city officials and staff.

The event included games for the kids, information on how the project has improved the street's stormwater capabilities for adults and Ruby Jewel ice cream for all.

City Council and Public Works staff members were on hand to thank local residents for their patience throughout the construction process.
