Bite-Sized Blotter: Concerning Google results and more
The Lake Oswego police log is, shall we say, rather popular. We even made a book out of it a few years ago, and people still come into the office in search of a copy.
So with that in mind, we present the Bite-Sized Blotter — a Wednesday sneak peek at the week's calls before the whole log posts Thursday:
9/10 5:02 p.m. A person wanted to interview an officer for a project.
9/12 10:51 a.m. A man said he had an item repaired and did not receive all the pieces back. He wanted an officer to come with him to the store because he worried he would "get out of hand." He ended up getting the item back and being fully refunded.
9/12 2:07 p.m. A man wearing a fedora, an "old man shirt" and "old man pants" looked lost near the 1800 block of South Shore Boulevard. He was fine.
9/12 11:53 p.m. A caller said a man fell off a skateboard and kicked in the door of a bank near the 400 block of A Avenue.
9/17 12:29 p.m. A caller asked for help after Googling her name and finding information about a criminal history.
