Every Wednesday we'll whet your police log appetite with the week's best entries

The Lake Oswego police log is, shall we say, rather popular. We even made a book out of it a few years ago, and people still come into the office in search of a copy.

So with that in mind, we present the Bite-Sized Blotter — a Wednesday sneak peek at the week's calls before the whole log posts Thursday:

10/3 10:25 p.m. Someone punched a video poker machine and broke the screen near the 11800 block of Kerr Parkway.

10/4 5:33 p.m. A cat appeared to be stuck on top of a playhouse near the 700 block of Timbeline Drive. The cat was saved.

10/4 6:17 p.m. A man was being aggressive and threatening with employees after someone cut him off and took his beer away.

10/5 12:05 p.m. An open can of pesticide was found in a mailbox near the 15000 block of Davis Lane.

10/5 1:39 p.m. A man said he was fishing off a dock near the 300 block of Oswego Pointe Drive and someone told him he had to leave since the park was reserved. The man questioned if he really needed to leave.
