Logical Position plans to add 300 jobs with opening of new headquarters in Lake Oswego

The company currently has three spaces in Lake Oswego on Kruse Way, Kruse Way Place and Galewood Street, and will expand its footprint locally with the opening of a new 70,000 square-foot headquarters this summer.

Logical Position will hopefully start construction on its new home at 6000 Meadows Road in February and will occupy the second and third floor of the building, as well as portions of the fourth and fifth.

The company has been based in Lake Oswego for the last six years or so, and currently employs about 380 people locally — and 700 nationwide.

"We have many employees that live and work here," said Tony Palazzo, vice president of operations. "We love this community and don't want to leave."

In addition to employing people from surrounding areas like Southwest Portland, Tualatin, West Linn and Beaverton, Palazzo said employees volunteer in their local communities through the company's Activities, Community, Education and Social (A.C.E.S.) program.

"We're pretty rooted in the community and wanted to stay here," Palazzo said.

Since the formation of the company, it has experienced steady growth.

Palazzo said Logical Position was formed to give more attention to small and medium-sized businesses.

"They (small and medium-sized businesses) were a number in a database that was automating the management of their advertising campaigns. At the same time, we saw boutiques managing large companies getting much more attention," Palazzo said. "We thought, 'There has to be some way we can mix the two and can give small and medium-sized businesses the same kind of attention these large businesses are getting.' We created a model that allowed us to provide the best possible experience and management for small and medium-sized businesses who now get attention that parallels enterprise clients."

Palazzo added that the enterprise division is quite large now and the company does service a lot of large companies as well. But ultimately the company's detailed customer service and transparency is what catapulted business growth.

"We are very good at creating streamlined processes that efficiently manage campaigns in a way that is beneficial for both Logical Position and our clients," he said.

At the new headquarters, the primary positions will include operations, customer service, engineering and finance, among others.

"Bringing on an additional space in Lake Oswego provides us with plenty of necessary elbow room to get creative and maintain the type of company culture our team has thrived in from the beginning," said founder and co-CEO of Logical Position Michael Weinhouse in a press release. "Investing in each of the communities where we live and work, whether that is through a new real estate commitment or donating to a local charity, is a driving force behind LP."
