A vehicle caught fire late Wednesday, Aug. 12, on Washington Court, just off Boones Ferry Road in Lake Oswego.
The fire was fully involved when Lake Oswego Fire and Lake Oswego Police arrived on scene.
The fire was not the result of a crash, rather an electrical problem with the vehicle.
"The fire dropped on the driver's foot and he pulled over and got out of the car right away," Lake Oswego Police Sgt. Tom Hamann said.
The driver was not injured.
Part of the eastbound lane was blocked, but a tow truck has since arrived on scene, clearing the car for traffic.
