Suspect remains at large; Lake Oswego authorities say investigation is ongoing.

Lake Oswego police have yet to find the suspect who assaulted an elderly woman at her home in Lake Oswego just over a month ago.

A 74-year-old woman had picked up a package from her porch near the 2600 block of South Shore Boulevard when she was brutally assaulted in her garage by an unknown person. The woman suffered serious injuries and was recovering at a local hospital as of July 30. LOPD Sgt. Tom Hamann said the police department doesn't have a current update on the victim's condition.

The suspect is said to be a white, 25- to 35-year-old woman with tan skin and long, brown, curly hair. Police said she stands roughly 5-feet-6 inches, and is 130 pounds with a slender build.

Hamann said the suspect has not been located and police are still seeking any information the public may have about the suspect.

"The investigation is still ongoing," he said.
