Lake Oswego closes handful of soft surface trails
The Lake Oswego Fire Department ordered the closure Wednesday, Sept. 9, of four soft surface trails to help prevent further human-caused fires during a time when fire hazard warnings are in effect.
All of Clackamas County, including Lake Oswego, has been alerted to be prepared for a potential evacuation due to high winds and fires in the area.
Cooks Butte, Iron Mountain Trail, Luscher Farm and Stevens Meadow have been closed, effective immediately. The sites will reopen once conditions clear.
