Poor air quality prompts Lake Oswego to close some facilities
Due to poor air quality caused by wildfires raging throughout Clackamas County, the city of Lake Oswego has closed a number of facilities.
— All athletic fields
— Lake Oswego Golf Course
— Lake Oswego Tennis Center
— Luscher Farm
Community Supported Agriculture pickup was canceled Thursday evening, the city announced.
"We are hoping to reschedule for tomorrow evening if air quality improves," a post on the city website read.
Also canceled were FootGolf League Thursday evening and Meals on Wheels Friday delivery. Participants are using shelf-stable meals that were previously delivered.
Lake Oswego remains under Level 1 evacuation protocol, meaning residents should be prepared for a potential evacuation.
