One suspect still at large after robbery in Lake Oswego
The Lake Oswego Police Department arrested one suspect in an armed robbery that took place Tuesday night, Oct. 20, though the second is still at large.
The robbery occurred in front of Peacock Cleaners on Boones Ferry Road around 7:30 p.m., according to police. An employee at Peacock Cleaners was locking up the store when she was approached by two men.
"One of the men pointed a large machete at her and demanded her purse and keys," a Lake Oswego Police press release read. "The victim turned over the items and the suspects fled the scene in a silver Mercedes sedan."
LOPD Sgt. Tom Hamann said the victim was not harmed. Later that night members of the Portland Police Bureau located the silver Mercedes in Portland and detained 25-year-old Steve Salmon, who was then arrested by LOPD and lodged at Clackamas County Jail for first-degree robbery.
Shaquille Brown, 27, is the second suspect and is still at large. According to the press release, Brown is 5 foot, 6 inches, 170 pounds and is Black with black hair and brown eyes.
"He has tattoos on the front and right side of his neck and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt," the press release read.

"We are glad that our victim is safe and was not injured and we're hoping that the public can help us find this person quickly so they can be taken into custody and held to account," Hamann said.
