Lake Oswego cancels Reunion Farmers Market
Lake Oswego officially canceled the 2020 Reunion Farmers Market that would have taken place Saturday, Nov. 21.
Though outdoor markets are still allowed under Gov. Kate Brown's two-week pause in Clackamas County, the city decided to cancel the market as a safety precaution.
"The city has decided to cancel this Saturday's Reunion Farmers Market as the safety of patrons, volunteers, vendors and staff remains the top priority," said event supervisor Jamie Inglis in an email to the Review.
Inglis added that a decision, hopefully, will be made about the Dec. 4-5 Artisan Holiday Market by the end of the week.
As an alternative, the city created the Lake Oswego Farmers Market Virtual Marketplace to support local vendors.
