ACCIDENTS

11/16 9:21 a.m. An accident was reported near Bonita Road and Carman Drive. An injury was reported.

11/16 2:40 p.m. Two vehicles collided near 10th Street and Country Club Road. No one was injured.

11/17 7:44 a.m. A vehicle hit a garbage truck near Carman Drive and SW Waluga Drive. No one was injured.

THEFTS

11/13 3:12 p.m. A caller said multiple items were stolen from his house near the 1700 block of Edgecliff Terrace and he believed it was an inside job involving his live-in girlfriend.

11/16 6:39 a.m. A garage door opener and around $200 was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle near the 1000 block of Upper Devon Lane.

11/16 7:07 a.m. Theft of an unknown nature was reported near the 1700 block of Aspen Court.

11/16 8:42 a.m. A Gerber machete in a belt case and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle at an undisclosed location. In another vehicle, a garage door opener was taken, and items were also possibly stolen from the garage.

11/16 12:18 p.m. A possible burglary was reported at an undisclosed location after front door glass was smashed.

11/16 3:37 p.m. A chemical tank and stock tank, as well as an orchard ladder, polypipe and two propane tanks, were reported stolen near the 17700 block of Jean Way.

11/16 9:40 p.m. A handicap parking pass was stolen from an unlocked vehicle near the 1500 block of Ash Street.

11/17 3:02 a.m. Theft of an unknown nature was reported near the 15500 block of Manchester Drive.

11/17 3:46 p.m. A pair of Uggs was taken from a car near the 10 block of Jefferson Parkway.

STOLEN VEHICLES

11/17 7:44 a.m. A vehicle was reported stolen near the 3800 block of Bass Lane.

11/17 1:29 p.m. A vehicle was reported stolen near the 1500 block of Lake Front Road.

FRAUD

11/13 8:58 a.m. Someone's name and Social Security number was used to file for a small business loan and unemployment benefits.

11/13 1:52 p.m. Credit card fraud was reported.

11/16 12:48 p.m. Someone's Social Security number was used to file for unemployment.

11/16 12:50 p.m. Identity theft was reported.

11/16 2:00 p.m. A caller said someone stole a check they got in the mail and cashed it.

11/16 3:06 p.m. A caller said someone opened a DirectTV account in his name in Phoenix.

11/16 5:51 p.m. A resident reported two fraudulent charges amounting to $3,500.

MISC.

11/13 6:59 a.m. A caller believed they heard a shotgun go off near the 1200 block of North Shore Road.

11/13 9:43 a.m. A resident said her car was stolen last month and victim's assistance called her to suggest she talk to an officer about whether extra patrols were needed, since the suspect had been released.

11/13 11:37 a.m. A hospice nurse said a patient's daughter was lunging at them and the patient.

11/13 12:30 p.m. Someone who apparently had known psychiatric issues was walking in traffic near Westlake Drive and Kruse Way.

11/13 12:51 p.m. Someone who looked disoriented was walking around in a lot near the 4000 block of Kruse Way.

11/13 4:14 p.m. A caller said she was walking her dog near S State Street and Middlecrest Road when the dog jumped and "nipped" at a man's arm. The man then followed her and screamed at her, saying she "better hope he doesn't find her."

11/13 5:14 p.m. A resident said they could hear a woman screaming and breaking glass during a possible fight.

11/13 6:53 p.m. A caller said someone came to their door with a trash bag and asked if they could unload a pod that was outside near the 13900 block of Westcott Court.

11/13 9:06 p.m. A caller asked for an officer's assistance in securing a vault at an undisclosed location.

11/14 2:31 a.m. A resident said their grandson was drunk and they wanted him removed from the home they shared.

11/14 3:34 a.m. A group of guests at a hotel were drunk and kept going in and out near the 14800 block of Kruse Oaks Drive.

11/14 8:27 a.m. A caller said they saw a man take a long gun out of a car before walking into a church near the 4500 block of Carman Drive. The man apparently worked security there and they were doing an active shooter drill.

11/16 7:49 a.m. A man was seen sleeping in a vehicle near the 1600 block of South Shore Boulevard.

11/16 8:46 a.m. A caller wanted to know how officers would be enforcing new restrictions announced by the governor.

11/16 8:47 a.m. A caller said that a few days ago, a man was sleeping in front of their store with a sleeping bag and belongings near the 400 block of N State Street.

11/16 9:07 a.m. A resident said they broke up with their boyfriend and noticed him driving slowly in their area several times.

11/16 11:01 a.m. A caller said someone was making indirect threats to other residents in the building, saying they believed a family was drilling holes in her wall, putting gas in her unit and making her sick. Apparently she told the caller that she would get a gun and "blow their brains" if this continued.

11/16 2:03 p.m. A man said there was a deer in his yard with a broken leg near the 17300 block of Canyon Drive.

11/16 2:12 p.m. A caller had questions about code enforcement.

11/16 3:17 p.m. A resident wanted to let police know that they were moving and their home would be vacant for three weeks.

11/16 4:25 p.m. Skateboarders were refusing to leave a parking garage near the 5400 block of Meadows Road.

11/16 4:36 p.m. A caller said an employee wasn't wearing a mask and was knocking on her car window when she was getting gas at an undisclosed location.

11/16 5:33 p.m. A suspicious looking vehicle was sitting in front of a location near the 4100 block of Chapman Way for several hours.

11/16 6:07 p.m. A suspicious looking person was seen near the 1500 block of Pine Street.

11/17 4:40 a.m. A caller said she'd been kidnapped but couldn't give police any information. It turned out she was upset because she couldn't get a hold of her son.

11/17 8:25 a.m. A resident said an injured deer with "bones sticking out" was in her yard near the 2600 block of Lookout Court.

11/17 8:44 a.m. A caller said she was going to her son's house for Thanksgiving and wanted to know if she'd be fined for being part of a social gathering.

11/17 9:53 a.m. A resident had questions about a concealed handgun permit.

11/17 10:05 a.m. A caller said a man gathered a bunch of leaves and blew them at their mother and father's house. When they tried to talk to the person, he was "irate" and told them to get out of there.

11/17 10:19 a.m. A caller had questions about how to "trap or track" numbers when they called.

11/17 1:41 p.m. A caller was concerned about a 10-year-old girl who was crying and barefoot near Southwood Drive and Westlake Drive.

11/17 3:16 p.m. A resident said she was bitten on the left elbow by a dog at an undisclosed location.

11/17 3:21 p.m. A caller said their daughter was threatening to break their windows.

11/17 4:50 p.m. A resident said they were on a walk when they saw a U-Haul truck going up and down every street in the area near Glenwood Court and Glenmorrie Lane. It looked like the truck was checking out homes.

11/17 4:54 p.m. A caller said he and his neighbors had received letters telling them they needed to take their BLM and other political signs down near the 16800 block of Cherry Crest Drive.

11/17 6:33 p.m. A resident said someone was knocking loudly on doors and trying to sell something near Quarry Road and Carman Drive, and in general there was an increase in "strange" people in the area.

11/17 11:26 p.m. A caller said they were walking by a vehicle and saw a man inside holding a cat and possibly playing with it.

11/18 2:57 a.m. An employee at an establishment near the 17700 block of Pilkington Road said for the past few nights, a man would come in after waiting for them to go to the back, and he just looked at beer and then left when the employee came back out.
