Lake Oswego resident captures winter image of coyote
Lake Oswego resident and amatuer photographer John Economaki remembers his wife notifying him of a coyote in their snow-covered backyard last Friday morning.
The recent snowstorm, which began late last Thursday, blanketed their property on Timberline Drive. Economaki was in the shower and quickly wrapped a towel around himself and walked outside into 6 inches of snow on his deck to photograph a coyote about 20 yards away.
"We see them kinda frequently where we live, but not in the snow," he said. "It looks like I took that (photograph) in Yellowstone. To have that happen in Lake Oswego, that's cool as heck."
