Learn about Marylhurst affordable housing construction at upcoming event
Mercy Housing Northwest is hosting a virtual construction kick-off meeting for the future affordable housing complex at the former Marylhurst University campus in Lake Oswego.
The event will take place at 12 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, and will be held virtually. To register, visit us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_E8alLlGcR6KUjPMAWsFoOg. A recording of the meeting will also be posted online.
The project at the former campus — which closed in 2018 — is slated to bring 100 rental apartments. These dwellings vary from one-to-three bedrooms for households earning less than 60% of the area median income. Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-September and conclude in 2024.
The meeting will offer information regarding the construction process including hours of operation, truck routes and parking, as well as a Q&A with representatives of Mercy Housing Northwest and Walsh Construction Company.
