Thank you, Lake Oswego
I am truly humbled by the confidence the voters have shown me. I will strive to be a leader our community can be proud of and serve with truthfulness and empathy to help create an even better Lake Oswego.
Running for City Council was a positive experience because of the efforts of many people. I have profound respect for all the candidates who had the courage to run. We're a better community with citizens who seek to be involved. Further, I am appreciative of all the people who took the time to speak with me and share their thoughts about our City and how we can make it better.
Finally, thank you to the many family and friends who supported me. In particular, I would like to acknowledge the tireless efforts of Leslie Ruminski who managed my social media and kept me on task; Joan Moore for sharing her expertise in campaigning; Jon Gustafson for all his local insights; and all those who volunteered their time to campaign on my behalf. The generous donations, display of yard signs, volunteering of time, and/or writing letters to the editor; showed how deeply our citizens are committed to our community. I could not have done this without your support.
This is just the beginning of the work ahead. I look forward to continuing to listen and learn from all our citizens. Now, it is time to get to work.
