For Dec. 15 of the 2017 Oregon high school basketball season, here's a look back at the Plays of the Day. To see complete game stories from all these contests, go to the Prep Basketball tab.

CANBY 53 GRESHAM 44: After trailing by as many as 14 points, Gresham came roaring back to tie the game at 26-26 late in the third quarter of their Friday contest at Canby. But a hard layup by Ridden Miller put Canby back on top and started an 8-0 run for the Cougars.

WEST LINN 64, WILSONVILLE 51: With his team nursing a 57-49 lead over Wilsonville with just 3:10 left on the clock on Friday, West Linn senior forward Keishon Dawkins took over. After a pair of West Linn free throws, Dawkins scored on a drive down the left side of the lane, then added a dagger just 40 seconds later, taking a pass from Jalen Thompson and burying a three-pointer from the left corner for the final 64-51 margin with 1:04 left in the clock.

WEST LINN 74, ST. MARY'S 40: Hosting St. Mary's in their Three Rivers League opener on Friday, the Lions got the knockout blow early in the contest against the Blues. Leading by just three points with 4:40 remaining in the first quarter, West Linn closed the quarter on an 18-4 run highlighted by senior Brooke Landis' outside shooting. Landis buried three three-pointers in just 1:27, the last one of those a bomb from the left corner assisted by Lexie Pritchard that extended the Lions' lead to 26-10 with 2:18 remaining in the period.

MCKAY 79, FOREST GROVE 67: Leading by four in their Friday home game against McKay, the Vikings wilted under the relentless Royal Scots press and fell victim to an 11-0 run over the first three minutes of the fourth quarter. In the process, Forest Grove saw a 43-34 halftime lead turned into a 12-point home defeat at the hands of the Royal Scots.

ROOSEVELT 73, GRESHAM 29: Roosevelt's Ahliah Nordstrom scored three buckets in about 20 seconds to start the second quarter, getting loose inside for two, hitting a three-pointer from the left side, then putting another shot off the glass after making a spin into the lane as the Roughriders blanked Gresham 24-0 in the second quarter.

CENTRAL LINN 51, CULVER 43 (OT): Culver junior Irma Retano cleaned up an offensive rebound and drew an "and-one" on a putback attempt with 1 minute, 30 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of the Bulldogs' overtime home loss to Central Linn. A technical foul was also assessed to the Central Linn bench on the play, which gave Retano three attempts at the foul line. She hit two of them, giving Culver a 42-40 lead.

CENTRAL LINN 66, CULVER 44: Less than two minutes before the end of the third quarter in its Friday contest at Culver, Central Linn got a Dylan Thompson three-pointer, followed by a Robert Rowland layup in traffic, that put the Cobras on top 45-36 — at that point, their biggest lead of the night.
