The local team celebrates wins over both Bainbridge and Puget Sound in the tourney

The LOWPO 14U team opened its summer season by playing to a second-place finish at the Newberg Summer Kickoff tournament at Chehalem Aquatic Center May 30-June 2.

The highlight of the tournament for LOWPO was beating both Washington teams, Bainbridge and Puget Sound. The Puget Sound game was a nail-biting, come-from-behind victory eventually decided on penalty shots.
