In tweets: Lake Oswego falls 49-28 in 6A football championship
The Lake Oswego High School football team fell just short of a second straight state championship, losing 49-28 to Central Catholic in the Class 6A state championship game at Hillsboro Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 7.
With the win, No. 4 Central Catholic, the Special District 4 champion, saw its season end with a championship and a 12-2 record.
No. 3 Lake Oswego, the Special District 5 runnert-up, capped its season at 11-3.
