La Salle's Mizael Harris named Class 5A boys soccer Player of the Year
They stuck it in the back of the net.
They took it away from their opponents and they passed it beautifully.
And in response, they — Oregon's best high school boys soccer players — have been honored with all-state recognition for the 2021 fall season.
Among this year's selections was La Salle senior forward Mizael Harris, who was recently named the Class 5A Player of the Year.
During his final La Salle campaign, Harris led the Falcons to a Northwest Oregon Conference co-championship (shared with Wilsonville), four straight playoff wins and the Class 5A state title (a 5-0 victory over Corvallis).
Along the way, the Falcons posted a 16-1-1 overall record, with Harris scoring 24 goals and adding 20 assists.
