The American Association of University Women Lake Oswego branch will hold an antique appraisal event from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 16 as a fundraiser for the group.

Lake Oswego antique dealer Frederick E. Squire III will be at Oswego Heritage House, 398 10th St. in Lake Oswego, for the public to bring their antique collectible items for a fair market value appraisal. Admission is $10 at the door; each person is allowed to bring three items for evaluation.

Squire has 53 years of experience buying, selling and appraising antiques. He has owned and operated Fred Squire Antique in Lake Oswego for 23 years. A second-generation antique dealer, Squire began his career early in life while working with his mother in her antique business in Greenwich, Conn. Antiques have remained a lifelong passion.

Bring silver, china, folk art, vases, paintings, small furniture, Orientalia and decorative arts; no books, toys, carpets or jewelry.
