Mouser to talk of art, culture
Stumptown Stages Founder and Artistic Director Kirk Mouser will be the guest speaker at the Lake Oswego Womens Coalition luncheon to be held at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 18 at Oswego Lake Country Club, 20 Iron Mountain Blvd. in Lake Oswego. He will speak arts and culture with respect to innovation, change and need.
A Lake Oswego resident, Mouser spent 20 years in New York City, where he served as the associate managing director of Luna Stage Company, a professional regional theater in Montclair, N.J. As an actor his credits include the Broadway/National Tours of Les Miserables, Forbidden Broadway, Chess, The Phantom of the Opera and Leonard Bernsteins MASS. He has also co-starred in the Hollywood Festival Film Untraceable, and TNTs Leverage.
He currently chairs the Clackamas County Arts Alliance Foundation and serves on the Tourism Development Council and artPAC board. He received his bachelors degree in business from Warner Pacific College and MBA from Marylhurst University, where he serves on the Board of Trustees.
Stumptown Stages is a not for profit professional musical theater company in residence at Portland5 Center for the Arts.
