The veterinarians and staff at Animal Care Group of Lake Oswego invite pet owners to bring their pets to meet Santa Paws Dec.10.

Bring your animal buddy to meet Jolly Old Saint Nick

Animal Care Group of Lake Oswego will host Santa Claus, or Santa Paws as your pets probably know him, Dec. 10 at the pet clinic, located at 3996 Douglas Way in Lake Oswego. Humans are encouraged to bring their pets to meet Mr. Kringle, where they can take cute pictures resulting in cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

The staff at ACGLO considers this "an amazing opportunity for Animal Care Group of Lake Oswego. It's not every day that you get to host a big-name celebrity like Santa, and our staff is just as excited as our pet friends are to meet him."

Santa will be at the hospital from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., which is ample time for animals to take their pictures with Saint Nick.

"We can't wait to see the reactions of the animals when they finally get to meet Santa, and to see their faces when he bellows out his customary 'Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas,'" Veterinarian Steve Haley said. "It's a treat that only happens once a year, and we are glad Santa took time out of his busy schedule to meet with us."

Owners are asked to bring dogs or cats on leashes or carriers to meet Santa Paws.
