First Wednesday lecture covers Oregon history, as reported in Blue Book
Oswego Heritage Council continues its First Wednesday lectures May 1 with Darrel Jabin, commonly known as Oregon's Traveling Historian, who will lead the audience in discovering Oregon history through the Oregon Blue book. The free event begins at 7 p.m. at Oswego Heritage House and Museum, 398 10th St., Lake Oswego.
Every two years for more than 100 years, the Oregon Blue Book has provided a unique view of Oregon life and the events that impact the state. Javin will share a one-of-a-kind presentation taking people through history as presented in the Oregon Blue Books.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., refreshments will be served.
