The Arts Council of Lake Oswego will kick off its annual Arts Now! programm May 20.

The Arts Council of Lake Oswego is kicking off its annual Arts Now! Giving Program, targeted to raise money for enhancements to ARTspace community gallery.

Donors giving the minimum amount of $20 will be entered to win an incentive prize each week. The five-week program kicks off May 20 and will run through June 25.

ACLO's goal is to continue to be a vital hub of energy to the community by providing programming and materials in support of its mission, which is to ensure the arts are an integral part of life in the community. Donations will be accepted online at Cash and check donations can be mailed or dropped off to 520 First St., Lake Oswego OR 97034.

Each Tuesday from May 21 through June 25, the Arts Council will collect names of donors and enter them into a drawing for the weekly Arts Now! prize. Each donor who gives a minimum of $20 will have an opportunity to selected at random to win an incentive prize. Items range in value from $65 to $500, and include tickets to Portland Japanese Garden, Freeman Motors car detail certificate, tickets to the Art Council's popular Drink and Draw series, art classes at One River School of Art and Design, original art and more.

Donations will directly support the programs of the Arts Council, to replenish supplies, pay stipends for artist speakers and educators, plus enhance lighting, temporary signage, interactive monitors, purchase a portable projector screen and other equipment.

The overall goal of the Art Now! campaign is to raise $5,500.
