All thumbs with flower arranging? Friends of Rogerson Clematis Collection can fix that
The Friends of the Rogerson Clematis Collection are offering a class Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to noon with a focus on bringing your garden indoors and teaching basic floral design principles.
The class will be held in the bunkhouse classroom at Luscher Farm, 125 Rosemont Road, West Linn. Attendees will learn floral design principles such as line, texture and color and whether to use a vase or floral foam. They will also learn when and how to cut and condition flowers.
Each participant will take home a floral arrangement of their own creation. Bring a bud vase and clippers to trim the flower stems.
Cost is $10 for FRCC members and $25 for non-members. To register go online to rogersonclematiscollection.org/events.
