All children and adolescents with challenges are invited to enjoy an afternoon of golf with the Mobility Impaired Golf Association.

Mobility Impaired Golf Association (MIGA) will hold its annual golf jamboree starting at noon Sept. 22 at Lake Oswego Public Golf Course, 17525 Stafford Road in Lake Oswego. The event features instruction on the driving range, putting and chipping green, achievement awards and ribbons for all children and adolescents, a visit from the Lake Oswego Fire Department via firetruck. Invitees include any child or adolescent with challenges and their immediate family members, including those involved with United Cerebral Palsy, Doernbecher Children's Hospital, Shriners Hospital, Down Syndrome Network of Oregon, Children's Cancer Association and Special Olympics.

The event is free of charge and golf equipment is provided. Attendees will also enjoy pizza, desserts and beverages.
