The class focuses on equipping your garden with color throughout the seasons - even during winter.

COURTESY PHOTOS  - Friends of the Rogerson Clematis Collection will host a plant sale and class Oct. 5 at the garden at Luscher Farm. The sale is free and open to all. There is a cost for the class.The Friends of the Rogerson Clematis Collection invite all to attend a "Flower Power" class and end of the season clematis sale Oct. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rogerson Clematis Garden at Luscher Farm, 125 Rosemont Road, West Linn.

The sale is timed for the height of autumn transplanting season and will include special plants and discounts on two-gallon clematis.

Kathy Whitman will teach the Flower Power class from 10 a.m. to noon.

The class focuses on equipping your garden with color throughout the seasons — even during winter. Plant lists for specific uses and challenges will also be discussed.

Cost of the class is $25 for the general public, $10 for FRCC members.

At noon on Oct. 5 there will be a dedication ceremony for benches donated by the Lake Oswego Rotary Club and private donors Bill and Charlene Tuttle and Nancy and Ron Gronowski.
