Winter Break Luscher Farm Days — Join us over winter break at the farm. Start seeds, plan a garden bed, stroll the gardens, make hot cocoa and popcorn, harvest winter veggies and create delicious soup to warm you up. For ages 5-12, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Thursday, Friday, Dec. 26-27 or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Jan. 2, 3. Both sessions held at Luscher Farm and cost is $93.

Winter Break Art Class

Sculpey Sculpture — Create fantastical creatures, animals and people using the technique of building wire and tin foil armatures, then covering it with Sculpey. For ages 8-12, 9 a.m.-noon, Thursday, Friday, Dec. 26, 27, Christ Church Parish (CCP), $138.

Children's Gift Making Class

Holiday Gift Making — Experience three very different sessions creating holiday inspired art. Each afternoon focuses on different projects including rock painting, cork ornaments and more. All materials provided. For ages 7-12, 4-5 p.m., Wednesdays, Dec. 4, 11, 18, CCP, $43.

Adult Holiday Art Class

Paper Quilling for the Holidays — Use strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, looped curled, twisted, pinched, glued and otherwise manipulated to create shapes, designs and keepsake décor. Quilling paper and tools provided. For ages 18+, 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Dec. 14, CCP, $27.

Bob Ross Oil Painting — Discover the artist within, in this easy step-by-step class that takes beginners to seasoned painters from blank canvas to finished masterpiece in one class. All supplies provided. Visit loparks.org to view paintings. For ages 12+. Paint Silver Falls in the Snow from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, CCP or Cardinal in the Window from 1-4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, Adult Community Center. Class cost is $49.

Winter/Spring 2020 Parks & Recreation registration

Mark your calendar for Winter/Spring 2020 registration day that begins Dec. 9 at 10 a.m. for Lake Oswego residents. Get 2020 off to a great start with a selection of classes and camps that will meet the needs of every age level and interest. If registering in person please note that you can do so at the Lake Oswego Municipal Golf Course located at 17525 Stafford Road or for your convenience register at loparks.org, or call 503-675-2549. Non-resident registration will begin Dec. 16 at 10 a.m.

There is something for everyone. Join us as we lead the way to fun and adventure!

Non-residents generally pay more than fees shown. Scholarships are also available for Lake Oswego residents.
