WL parks come alive soon with music, games more
It is never too soon to start daydreaming about the warmth and relaxed feeling we enjoy during summer in West Linn.
And making it all the more enjoyable is the West Linn Parks' Music in the Parks concert series. We are pleased to share the lineup for this year's concerts which will take place Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Tanner Creek Park, located at 3456 Parker Road, running July 23 through Aug. 20. Here's the lineup:
— Kicking off the series July 23 will be Bad Moon Riders, a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute band. They will take you back to the golden era of rock.
— July 30 we'll welcome Glass of Hearts, a premiere female-fronted Blondie tribute powerhouse will deliver a punk, disco and high energy performance.
— Blues fans will revel in the guitar master of Norman Sylvest Aug. 6.
— Beloved local band Remedy will bring their rock to the park Aug. 13.
— Expect to be wowed Aug. 20 by Dance Hall Days, a band that brings fresh sound to every song.
— Wrapping up the series will be Cloverdayle, featuring West Linn natives Chad and Rachel Hamer who have made it big in Nashville's country music scene.
Remember to pack your chairs and picnics or purchase local foods, snacks and beverages from vendors at the park.
