Calling all women golfers — want to improve your game? COURTESY PHOTO  - Women golfers wanting to improve their game can sign up for a golf clinic at Lake Oswego Public Golf Course.

Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation is offering an eight-session Ladies Golf Clinic that will give comprehensive coverage on all golf techniques.

The clinic will meet twice weekly over four weeks. Each week the pros introduce and demonstrate a single aspect of the swing or short game and help you master them. Fee includes a card valid for four 9-hole rounds. Beginners or intermediate ladies welcome. For ages 18+. Meets 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday, April 14 through May 7 at the Public Golf Course. Cost is $120.

Preschool Nature Walk — Did you know leaves can fall in different ways? Let's chase leaves and swirl through the air with them for a falling good time! Join Friends of Springbrook Park and learn about trees as you walk through the woods.

Kayaking Tour — In the Willamette River lies a hidden island paradise accessible only by boat. Join AWL as we paddle from West Linn to Rock Islands, a series of basalt islands on the Willamette River.

Explore narrow basalt channels lined with madrone and fir trees while we keep our eyes peeled for osprey and shorebirds. AWL provides all necessary gear and equipment. Transportation is included. For ages 9+, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, April 18, Hazelia Field, $73.

Run4Fun Running Club for Girls — This club is all about running and having a great time doing it. Run4Fun is dedicated to promoting a lifelong love for running and a healthy lifestyle. This is a club for everyone — including those who have never been on a run to experienced runners. Don't miss this chance to train with Certified Running Coach Wendy Berton. For ages 8-11, 4:30-5:30 p.m., Wednesdays, April 22-May 27, Luscher Farm, $60.

Beginning Tap for Adults — It's never too late to begin dancing. Tap dancing is a great way to explore dance and keep yourself healthy and active. This class will focus on rhythm and technique. For ages 18+, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesdays, April 15-May 20, Adult Community Center (ACC), $58.

Toddler Music Class

First Steps in Music — Parents and kiddos experiencing music together. Learn to be tuneful and artful using instruments, singing and dancing. Explore the musical potential of your family. For ages 1-3, 10-10:30 a.m., Saturdays, April 25-May 30, Christ Church Parish (CCP), $65.

Discover the Artist Within

Bob Ross Oil Painting — Enjoy this easy step-by-step class, suitable for beginners to seasoned painters. Take home your own unique masterpiece at the end of the one-day class. All supplies provided. Visit loparks.org to view paintings. For ages 12+. Paint Enchanted Falls 1-4:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, ACC, $52 or Desert Glow 5:30-9 p.m., Monday, April 27, CCP, $52.

Garden Art — Come and use your imagination and make whimsical art for your garden. Use corks to make plant markers and paint rocks using paint pens. Supplies provided. For ages 18+, 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, April 18, CCP, $35.
