The ACC can help with elder law issues
Despite COVID-19 the ACC is able to offer a few services, Meals on Wheels, lunch-to-go, resource sharing and referrals and legal consultations. Legal issues and questions don't stop because of COVID-19 and our attorneys are continuing to meet with people via the phone. If you are unaware, the ACC in partnership with Clackamas County and the Legal Aid Services of Oregon offers a free 30-minute consultation with an attorney that specializes in elder law. The ACC hosts the program every second Friday of the month, with the next one being July 2. Because of COVID-19 we are not doing in person meetings so all appointments are conducted over the phone. To make an appointment through the ACC the client must reside in Clackamas County. Call the front desk at 503-635-3758 to schedule your 30-minute appointment.
At this time, we are not able to host lunch in the dining room. We are offering Meals on Wheels to those that qualify and lunch to go for pick up. For more information on either option, please call the center. Lunch this week is as follows, Friday, June 26 – lemon chicken, Monday, June 29 – muffuletta, Wednesday, July 1 – turkey bacon club. The cost of the meals is a suggested donation of $4 for those 60 and over and a $5 fee for everyone else. The lunch menu is subject to change without notice due to COVID-19. The LOACC is located at 505 G Ave., Lake Oswego, 97034. A list of activities and support groups can be found on our website, loacc.info, using the menu found on the left side of the website, click on "Activities" and "Services" for more details. Call 503-635-3758 to register for classes, events or to make lunch reservations.
