COURTESY PHOTO - The Lake Oswego Adult Community Center will be moving temporarily while renovations are completed. The staff at the ACC is working hard on the details of our impending move. If you haven't heard, we are moving to a couple temporary locations due to our remodel. Many of the staff will be in an office at 425 2nd street. Our meal program will be running out of Christ Church Parish at 1060 Chandler, staff will be working in both locations to keep our services running. Due to the unpredictably of where staff will be at certain times we ask that you call to make an appointment to meet with anyone on staff. We are moving the week of Aug. 24 and hope to be settled in our temporary locations by Sept. 1. Once we are settled in, we will jump into our fall programing. Our fall programing will all be virtual via Zoom and includes classes on business succession, guardianship, finances for women and more. To view a full list and register for the classes visit the website at http://www.ci.oswego.or.us/acc/acc-virtual-presentations.

At this time, we are not able to host lunch in the dining room. We are offering Meals on Wheels to those that qualify and lunch to go for pickup. For more information on either option, please call the center. Lunch this week is as follows, Friday, Aug. 14 – Hawaiian pork tacos, Monday, Aug. 17 – chicken burritos, Wednesday, Aug. 19 – Italian sub sandwich. The cost of the meals is a suggested donation of $4 for those 60 and over and a $5 fee for everyone else. The lunch menu is subject to change without notice due to COVID-19. The LOACC is located at 505 G Ave., Lake Oswego, 97034. A list of activities and support groups can be found on our website, loacc.info, using the menu found on the left side of the website, click on "Activities" and "Services" for more details.
