Youth Activities

Intro to Fencing — Learn the basic tactical and technical skills of the Olympic sport of sabre fencing. This dynamic sport offers challenges to quick thinking, coordination, strength and stamina. Safety emphasized. Equipment provided. Ages 7-13, 4:45-6 p.m., Thursdays, Oct. 29-Dec. 10, Christ Church Parish (CCP), $108.

No School Garden Day — Spend your school day off at the Farm. Create seasonally themed crafts and enjoy outdoor activities while learning about organic gardening. Ages 5-12.

Adult Fitness

Outdoor Fitness — There's nothing better than getting outdoors in Oregon. Strength, cardio and mat work will both challenge and motivate you. All levels welcome. Bring a mat and water to each glass. Ages 18+, 10:45-11:45 a.m., Wednesdays, Nov. 4-Dec. 2, West Waluga Park, $33.

Virtual fitness classes

50+ Zumba Gold — Join the party and enjoy getting fit while moving to high energy Latin and international music. Cardio-based class combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body using an aerobic/fitness approach. Easy to follow dance moves require no previous dance experience. Ages 50+, 4-5 p.m., Mondays, Nov. 2-Dec. 14, $52.

Strength and Balance — This class aims to increase balance, bone density and confidence, promote wellness, lean muscle and overall strength through specifically formatted exercises. Please bring a mat to each class. Ages 18+, Noon-1 p.m., Wednesdays, Nov. 4-Dec. 16, $33.

Entry Level Strength Training — Experience low-impact training that uses weights and dynabands to strengthen muscles around joints. Improve muscle coordination and balance. Class includes a stretch and relaxation segment. Chairs will be used. Ages 18+, 9 a.m.-10 a.m., Wednesdays, Nov. 4-Dec. 16, $33.

Dance for kids

Little Tappers — A fun and basic introduction to tap that focuses on rhythm and movement. Ages 3-5, 4:15-5 p.m., Mondays, Oct. 26-Dec. 7, Christ Church Parish (CCP), $55.

Mini-Ballerinas — An introduction to a ballet class with circle time and free dance incorporated. Parents are invited to observe at the end of class. Ages 3-5.
