I hear there are different parts, what are they? Most of us have so many questions regarding Medicare. Medicare is complicated and Debra Kranyak, a Medicare Advisor is here to help. Debra designed this class to help clear up some of the complication about what Medicare A covers. Come ready to learn more about hospital inpatient stays, skilled nursing rehabilitation, home health and hospice. Leave the class feeling better prepared to advocate for yourself and loved ones! Medicare 101 is being presented on Mon., Nov. 16 from 1-2 p.m. There is no cost for the class, and to register for this class please visit the ACC's website at http://www.ci.oswego.or.us/acc/acc-virtual-presentations. At this time, we are not able to host lunch in the dining room. We are offering Meals on Wheels to those that qualify and lunch to go for pick up. For more information on either option, please call the center. Lunch this week is as follows, Friday, Oct. 30 – chef salad and spilt pea soup, Monday, Nov. 2 – beef patty with gravy, Wednesday, Nov. 4 – sweet & sour pork. The cost of the meals is a suggested donation of $4 for those 60 and over and a $5 fee for everyone else. The lunch menu is subject to change without notice due to COVID-19. The LOACC is located at 505 G Ave., Lake Oswego, 97034.
