LOACC: Know your Medications?
In this hour-long class, learn how medications can interact or cause unwanted side effects, and how polypharmacy can contribute to ill health. Registered Nurse Patient Advocates Antra Boyd and Ciera Dube will discuss the ins and outs of your daily medications, and teach you how to be an advocate for yourself when you have to manage your medications on your own. At this time, we are not able to host lunch in the dining room. We are offering Meals on Wheels to those that qualify and lunch to go for pick up. For more information on either option, please call the center. Lunch this week is as follows, Friday, Feb. 5 – Bavarian stew, Monday, Feb. 8 – turkey patty, Wednesday, Feb. 10 – chicken pomodoro. The cost of the meals is a suggested donation of $4 for those 60 and over and a $5 fee for everyone else. The lunch menu is subject to change without notice due to COVID-19.
