LOACC: Estate planning during the pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has directed our attention to a variety of issues, such as: hand washing, avoiding surfaces that are frequently touched by others, social distancing and working or attending school remotely. But it has also highlighted the importance of having an estate plan. During this virtual presentation, Attorney Michelle-Shari Kruss will be highlighting the fundamentals of estate planning, including unexpected incapacity, beneficiary designations, why it's so important to periodically review your plan and much more. At this time, we are not able to host lunch in the dining room. We are offering Meals on Wheels to those that qualify and lunch to go for pick up. For more information on either option, please call the center. Lunch this week is as follows, Friday, Mar. 12 – roasted turkey with gravy, Monday, Mar. 15 – turkey ham, Wednesday, Mar. 17 – ham with orange glaze. The cost of the meals is a suggested donation of $4 for those 60 and over and a $5 fee for everyone else. The lunch menu is subject to change without notice due to COVID-19.
