LOACC presents Living Well Talk Series
One hundred years after the 19th Amendment granted women the right to vote in the United States, the Oregon Historical Society presents an original exhibition, Nevertheless, They Persisted: Women's Voting Rights and the 19th Amendment. This exhibit showcases the role Oregon played in the national story of woman suffrage. Lunch is not scheduled with this trip. Trips are limited to 4 people to allow for social distancing in the shuttle van. Meet at Christ Church Parish, 1060 Chandler Rd., at 12:45 p.m. Please note that trip participants are expected to participate independently with no special assistance from staff or other participants. 1 – 4:30 p.m., April 15. At this time, we are not able to host lunch in the dining room. We are offering Meals on Wheels to those that qualify and lunch to go for pick up. For more information on either option, please call the center. Lunch this week is as follows, Friday, Apr. 2 – chicken pastina, Monday, Apr. 5 – sliced ham, Wednesday, Apr. 7 – ground beef stew. The cost of the meals is a suggested donation of $4 for those 60 and over and a $5 fee for everyone else. The lunch menu is subject to change without notice due to COVID-19.
