The Rotary Club of West Linn's annual Barn Dance Fundraiser is set to take place virtually this year, beginning April 23 and running through May 2.
Typically this fundraiser is a live event featuring a barn dance, barbeque and auction at Langdon Farms Golf Club, but it is virtual this year due to the pandemic. Proceeds go toward the club's efforts in "helping youth near and far."
"We're hoping to exceed last year's total, and we encourage anyone looking for a potentially great deal for graduation gifts or a Mother's Day present to come and check it out," said Rita Segura, a member of the club's fundraising committee, in a press release. "If you're looking for a way to give back but don't know where to start, we suggest a little auction bidding to start 2021 in the giving spirit."
Auction items this year include a one-week sailing trip in the San Juan islands, as well as fishing trip for two on the Columbia River and a hot air balloon flight over Oregon's wine country.
